Food Processing Training’s

Entrepreneurship could be defined as an action towards Income generation & Self employment. COS-V always efforts in a direction to make people self sustainable with a diversified approach and as well with different developmental programmes.

OBJECTIVES

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (EDP) was also a similar effort for a group of 42 Women beneficiaries of Common Interest enthusiastic for Self Employment. Programme was initiated with sponsorship of Ministry of Food Processing to generate entrepreneurship competencies & to learn different traits of successful entrepreneur with broader objectives-
  • To augment the capacity of food processors working to upscale their operations through capital infusion, technology transfer, skill up gradation and hand holding support.
  • To facilitate established Self Help Groups (SHG's) working in sector of Food Processing to achieve SME status.
  • Capacity Building and Skill Upgradation through institutional training to ensure sustainable employment opportunities in food processing sector.
  • To sustain, encourage, and promote Indian Food Processing Industry.

A continuous 42 days long programme having various innovative approaches where Subject Matter Specialists from different sectors accomplished their sessions in theoretical as well as in practical manner.
